DM The “Fell” Locomotive.
the
prototype
for this locomotive appeared in 1952 and had a total of 60
cylinders and 6 separate engines. The kit will build a model of
the locomotive in its original form, and as rebuilt as a
4-4-4-4.

Detail Parts, But This Is Why The Kit Has Dropped In Price From
£69.00 To Only £50.00.

Class 05 0-6-0 DM.
These
Shunters were originally 1136/43 and 11161/76 later becoming
D2550/73 with the last survivor based on the
Isle of Wight
becoming 05001. Although not strictly accurate we now include an
etched cab to convert the locomotive to the later members of the
class D2574 onwards that had larger cab windows.

D2950-2 0-4-0 DM - DY1.
This
kit will build one of this small class of locomotives in their
original form with cowcatchers and wheel valences fitted for
working in the East Anglian docks.
As
such the chassis is hidden and has been kept as simple as
possible in fact a power bogie could be used instead.

kit consists of an etched brass body Sheet. It was
originally designed to fit a Bachmann Gandy Dancer chassis or
you could use a Tenshodo SPUD. Two cabs are provided to allow
you to produce different versions.

– the prototype was produced in a variety of gauges so a
narrow gauge model could be produced.
