These GP35 powered locomotives are painted MP blue with white logos,
lettering and chevron stripes on the ends. First built in the early
1960s they were the first locos to bear the large white eagles
(known as the Screaming Eagle or Turbo-Eagle), a distinct new symbol
of the company during the diesel era. The eagles were eventually
integrated into the company logo by the mid and late 1970s.
